A word for the waiting.

A word for the waiting:

A glance, a stare

Your existence girl,

Does not seem to be much of his care.

Waltzing with stress

Pirouettes with an awkward awareness

It's like tango with a mental test

His back

hiding his contempt

Is your favourite sight, girl

And yet,

you wait.

Yearning and hoping,

Yearning and confused,

because yearning is the only thing you can do.

Unfortunately.

A glance, a stare

You play with the days until the impossible

is made possible.

Admist the crowded bus

You blush at touch

With a heightened sense of consciousness

Your looks and his thoughts are of great fuss.

It does not take much to make you happy, girl

All you want is for him to scratch away the dirt

And see underneath,

is a shiny white pearl

A glance, a stare

You walk alone

And its just another day.
